TV Whitespace up for grabs!

Due to the transition from analog broadcast TV to digital, television channels will occupy less space in the radio frequency spectrum than previously.   This frees up the frequencies which can be put to use by other wireless devices, such as Wireless Internet.  As of this writing the USA has not yet decided how to deal with the allotment of this space, but it is likely that whatever decision is made, Canada will implement a similar decision.

If you value the fact that you are receiving internet over frequencies that are public domain instead of being auctioned to the highest bidder, please voice your opinion and help us secure these frequencies.
