The recently installed color Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) web camera produces high resolution 30fps color images.  This camera with image recording and motion detection notification is part of the recently upgraded security system protecting facilities at the mountaintop repeater site. Images are downloaded to the Lyttonnet.com public access server every minute and will refresh automatically every 5 minutes.  Note that images are not updated during night hours.

Weather conditions are severe at this location so images may be blurred by snow on the lens and fog or blowing snow in the area.  Conditions change rapidly however and the view can be astounding when the sky clears.

(Update 10/08) We recently installed a de-icing heater near the camera to reduce icicle formation.
